Serving widows and women across Lagos and surrounding communities since 2018.
We organise monthly meetings for widows to create a safe and supportive environment where they can share experiences, receive counselling, and gain encouragement. These meetings also serve as a platform for mentorship, practical guidance, and community support.
The Foundation provides basic medical services for widows every two months. These services include blood pressure (BP) and blood sugar level checks aimed at promoting early detection of health concerns and encouraging healthy living among widows.
RWCF organises vocational and skill-acquisition training programmes to empower widows with practical skills. These trainings are designed to help widows become economically independent, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to society.
We conduct educational and life-preparation lectures for single women. These sessions focus on personal development, informed decision-making, moral values, and preparation for future responsibilities.
Our annual medical outreach programme is targeted at widows and women within our communities. Through this outreach, we provide health education, basic medical screening, and access to essential health information.
The Foundation organises and participates in public lectures and seminars that address issues affecting widows, single women, and families. These lectures are delivered both as part of our programmes and by invitation from churches, organisations, and community groups.
RWCF is committed to raising awareness on issues related to widowhood, womanhood, and family life. Through advocacy and public engagement, we promote dignity, understanding, and supportive responses to the challenges faced by women.
